A very fun platformer that’s light on challenge or ambition, but brimming with creativity and charm. By Tom Marks True to form, Yoshi’s Crafted World is exactly what I expected it to be. It’s a very enjoyable and delightfully charming Yoshi platformer that doesn’t really strive to. Yoshi's Crafted World is an engaging and charming platformer that is absolutely worth playing, but it misses a clear opportunity to be more than that by not taking full advantage of its most clever ideas Of course, I still thoroughly enjoyed every adorable hour I spent with it. Lantern Ghosts are common enemies that appear in the games Yoshi's New Island,Yoshi's Island DS and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They carry light with them and they can see in the dark, and because of this they mostly appear in cave levels. They are Shy Guys that wear a ghost blanket, and they also make the same sound Shy Guys make. One Lantern Ghost appears in Paper Mario as a mid-boss. Crafted — Blockafeller, Yoshi's Crafted World. Blockafellers are a family of robot-like characters in Yoshi's Crafted World. They have springy arms, heads with a flower on top and a large nose, a singular 'foot' made out of a bottle cap, and bodies made out of cardboard boxes. Yoshi's Crafted World Ninjarama Souvenirs. Paper-Lantern Ghost Location. Paper-Lantern Ghost Keep on heading to the right until you pass by the house where you get the first Poochy. Lantern Ghosts are lantern-carrying, shrouded Shy Guys appearing in the Yoshi franchise and Mario Party Advance.Despite hating the light and loving the dark, Lantern Ghosts can never be found without a lit lantern. Just like the regular Shy-Guys in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, they can be found in four colors, being grey, green, orange, and brown. Yoshi's Crafted World Time To Beat Rock

I loved this game, but boy did it frustrate me at times. The things it did well were stellar. The stages were richly detailed and well-crafted, and I loved the game encouraged you to acknowledge that during the seek-and-find portions. I felt that I knew each stage in its entirety by the time I was done gathering all the collectibles. The smaller, more concentrated world concepts allowed for more variety, and the aesthetic was constantly on point. The boss transformations and designs were especially standout and seemed more original than other Yoshi games (the cutscene dialogue options were cute little bonuses.)
That said..the main campaign honestly felt too long. I would have preferred some of the weaker stages were removed in favor of a more solid, shorter experience. Sprout searching at the end was SUCH unnecessary padding; it was a less-enjoyable variant on the craft search mechanic and just made me sigh. The music was also a low point for me. There weren't many tracks to begin with, and few among them stood out. The final version of the overworld theme does, but that's because it's just..not good. Between the overall length and repetitive music, I was worn out by the time I reached the end of the game.
Yoshi's Crafted World is a good game that exudes charm and creativity; I still think back on some of the stage concepts, and I'll definitely replay the game in the future. But it also overstays its welcome, and some questionable decisions drag down an otherwise polished, well-crafted experience.
