In Crafted World. Kamek Kerfuffle is the boss level of the Hidden Hills in Yoshi's Crafted World. Fifty Smiley Flowers are required to play this level. Game Info

Game Name:Yoshi’s Crafted World

For our sins, we’ve got you covered. Finding twenty red coins in a level will net you an extra, which is fairly crucial when you get to the late game and you want to unlock new worlds and progress, as each zone is gated by a certain number of the smiling plants. This is even more important in the post-game, where you need even more collectibles to unlock levels in the Hidden Hills zone. Yoshi's Crafted World has an absurd amount of Yoshi red coins for the player to find, which makes for an especially difficult predicament for the completionists out there. Yoshi's crafted world monty mole b gone cabbage.

The Sundream Stone shines over Yoshi’s Island and makes the land warm and bright. When Baby Bowser learns that the Sundream Stone has the potential to fulfill the owner’s wildest dreams, he and Kamek set out to steal it…but instead send the gems scattering across the island. It is up to Yoshi and his brothers to retrieve the gems and restore the Sundream Stone before it is too late.

Yoshi's Crafted World Kamek Challenge 3

Developed by Good-Feel and published by Nintendo, Yoshi’s Crafted World is a side-scrolling platformer. Following Yoshi’s Woolly World in 2015, the game was released for the Nintendo Switch and received positive reviews.

The Yoshi games are always a bit iffy for me. I like some of their creativity, but in general, the challenge level of the games isn’t that hard. Unlike a story driven game, you are essentially playing it to play it…and occasionally, the game does things to be real creative, but it doesn’t necessarily feel compelling.

Yoshi crafted world 5 3. Burt the Ball, we’re coming for you!

The game is typical Mario filtered through Yoshi wish Yoshi trying to collect lost gems on Yoshi Island’s and Baby Bowser and Kamek dogging them the entire way. The Yoshi games are slick and intuitive, but they are also not to the level of difficulty of New Super Mario or Donkey Kong games. I wish that between Yoshi-Kirby-Mario-Donkey Kong that Nintendo would find a nice happy medium side scroller that doesn’t bore nor makes you want to pull you hair out.

The controls for the game are pretty consistent with other Yoshi games and are easy to master. With the “hover jump”, it is much easy to save yourself and accuracy isn’t a priority. The game varies control gameplay by having levels where Yoshi’s movements control cars, fly planes, or track levels where the goal is to get a certain number of points in essentially a shooting fest. There is variety in the controls, but I wish that the “special levels” were more regular and less one-offs…fortunately, there isn’t a ton of the irritating Poochy.

Wow…Baby Bowser got big…what a shock! (said no one)

Yoshi's Crafted World Kamek Boss Challenge

What Yoshi succeeds in creativity. Woolly World crafted Yoshi out of yarn and played with the idea of crafting and “homemade Yoshi”. This entry steps up the craft approach and creates worlds in a pop-up book fashion. The surroundings are made of man-made material (kind of like the miniature world of Pikmin) and these are often used creatively like the taped boxes of Cheery Valley’s “Open, Shut!” or the mobiles of Outer Orbit’s “Ride the Stars”.

Yoshi’s Crafted World is long and there is a lot of replay to it (each level has a number of flowers to collect in multiple run-throughs with “find” missions). In that sense, the game is a great purchase. It will keep you busy but taking breaks in playing it will be mandatory since the Crafted World sometimes feels a bit repetitive…but always manages to do with style.

Yoshi

So, you're starting to wrap up your play-through of Yoshi's Crafted World, and maybe it felt a little easy to you. Sure, some of the collectibles are tricky to find, but just finishing the levels might have been a cinch, especially if you opted for Mellow Mode. But don't worry. If you were hoping for a bigger challenge, Good Feel has a few more mountains for you to climb..or rather, hills. Hidden Hills.

The game's most difficult levels are located in Hidden Hills. Here's how to unlock them.

What is Hidden Hills?

Hidden Hills is a short series of bonus levels at the end of Yoshi's Crafted World. Though most of the other levels in this game can be completed fairly easily (though their collectibles may prove much more of a challenge), Hidden Hills levels are tough as nails.

Yoshi's Crafted World Kamek Challenge Game

Two of them (the first and the third) are tricky platforming challenges with huge gaps, moving platforms, and very few 'safe' spots to rest, as well as the added caveat that if you fall anywhere in the level, it's game over and you have to start from the beginning (other levels just return you to the last safe spot you stood with a health penalty). The second Hidden Hills level is more of a dodging and collecting challenge as you rise on a magnet platform, avoiding security lights that will send enemies to attack you, and perform a final series of tricky jumps across flying enemies.

These levels can be difficult, even on Mellow Mode. Good luck!

How do you unlock Hidden Hills?

Hidden Hills will automatically appear on your overworld after you beat the normal final boss of Yoshi's Crafted World. However, in order to access it, you'll have to pay a hefty Smiley Flower price.

A Blockafeller at the entrance of the levels asks you for 30 Smiley Flowers to gain access, but that only unlocks a single level. There are three total levels in Hidden Hills, and you'll need 30 Smiley Flowers for each - 90 total. If you don't want to backtrack after every single level, I recommend returning to prior levels and stocking up on Smiley Flowers before you try to tackle these tricky platforming challenges.

There is also a 'secret' final boss lying in wait at the end of Hidden Hills, and far tougher than the regular final boss. You must beat all three levels to get to them. You'll also have to, once again, pay up. It's 50 Smiley Flowers to challenge them. On top of the 90 you already need for the Hidden Hills levels, you'll want a whopping 140 Smiley Flowers to clear the entirety of this zone.

What does the Blockafeller give you for 317 Smiley Flowers?

After beating the final boss in Kamek Kerfuffle, the Blockafeller you've been climbing the mountain with will ask you for 317 Smiley Flowers. This number is the amount of flowers remaining in the game after all other Blockafellers are fed and all levels are unlocked, which they should be at this point.

It's a daunting task to collect this many. You'll need to collect all Smiley Flowers in each level, plus all bonus flowers gained from 100 coins, 20 Red Coins, and 20 hearts. You'll also need to do every Flip Side level, finishing with all three Poochy Pups within the time limit, and go back and collect all souvenirs for the Blockafellers and complete all their scavenger hunts. That will amount to 317 extra Smiley Flowers, which you can then pay the Blockafeller for a bonus costume for Yoshi: The Sundream Stone costume.
